Alot has happened

Sometimes in times of great sorrow and sadness, things become clearer and more directed.
My Heartworm Hazel began her journey to the Rainbow Bridge at 623AM April 2, 2009. I was and am devasted. My heart is broken. Hazel came home and was laid to rest in a wonderful little garden my dear neighbor, his partner and I cleared. It will blossom into a beautiful, peaceful flower garden later this spring.

Hazel touched everyone she met with her will and determination to live. She enjoyed her days of freedom, finally escaping from the awful cages she was kept in for 9 years. Once she was healthy, she took her place as the matriach of all the rescues who live with me. She did not ask, but was given her due respect by all the dogs, even Oscar who growls from the moment he wakes until the end of his day. Every human feel in love with her.........
Through her passing, my focus is being streamlined. Hazel's Angels has been established as an umbrella for several companies.
The big picture includes Hazel's Angels Sanctuary, a no kill shelter for dogs who are no longer wanted, their pet parents have passed, or have never had a family. Within the walls of the sanctuary will be Hazel's Bakery and Diner, where our organic dog cookies and meals will be available. An area for dogs to come play with their human parents, relax and enjoy the company of our residents. And, just maybe a family will adopt one of the residents.
A Holistic vet, boutique, Natural Dog House, groomer, and photo studio. A percentage of all profits will go to the Sanctuary to help dogs.

Hazel's Angels Foundation is a non profit to aid pet parents who have critically ill dogs receive medical attention.
Our branding will change. Our logo. Our colors. Our new talk radio show, Natural Dog House, premiers this month.
There is much happening. There are days I wonder how I will ever accomplish all this. I know I will. The cause is great. The desire is great. And Hazel is great.
It's all about the dogs. It will happen.
